Residents in Tokyo have reported seeing probably the world’s most patient pet-walker: an old man who takes his massive African spurred tortoise (or sulcata) on walks throughout town. The strange pair has apparently been together for a very long time, judging by the tortoise’s size, and the tortoise always plods patiently by its owner’s side.
